Retail Banking includes individual, individual wealth, retail, and entrepreneurial segment customers. In addition, retail branches provide services to commercial and corporate segment customers in provinces where the Bank does not have commercial and corporate branches.
Opening new branches to ensure that more people and businesses have easy access to banking services, the Bank increased the number of retail branches from 169 at the end of 2023 to 185 in 2024.

Full support to the real sector through digital channels and financing resources
Ziraat Katılım launched the Katılım Dijital product to support the e-transformation processes of SMEs focused on digitalization. The Bank has completed the second phase of the “SME Value Proposition” project, designed to meet the financial needs of SMEs comprehensively, and has started the final phase of the project, aiming to help SMEs manage their financial processes more effectively by launching the project in 2025. Ziraat Katılım continues to enhance its support for the real sector by offering both financing and non-financing solutions tailored to the needs of SMEs and producers.
Within the framework of its digitalization vision, the Bank informs its customers about its digital products, such as Katılım Dijital, Mobile Banking, Instant Market, etc., and directs them to digital channels.
In 2024, Ziraat Katılım achieved a successful growth performance in Retail Banking by expanding its branch network and offering products and services for different customer segments. The Bank, which stands out especially with its solutions for SMEs, digital banking services, and support for the agricultural sector, ranks 12th in the banking sector and 2nd among participation banks with its asset size as of year-end 2024.
Ziraat Katılım considers changes in national legislation as the most essential risk factor, closely monitors the changes made by regulatory bodies within the framework of tight monetary policy, and quickly adapts its products and services accordingly.
Prominent product/service development activities in 2024
The State Supported Credit Insurance (DDAS) Basic Plan product was developed and introduced to be used by SMEs
The Commercial Credit Card, designed to simplify company expenditures and expense management, was launched.
The Supplier Financing product, which offers early collection opportunities for suppliers, was launched.
In order to encourage customers to save, the Accumulating Savings Account was introduced, which allows customers to save for purposes such as Hajj, Umrah, education, and military service.
Within the framework of the agreement with the Islamic Development Bank, the Bank continued to disburse the “Emergency Working Capital Financing” package to support SMEs in Türkiye.
New support packages were created in cooperation with KFK, and the financing needs of companies eligible for the relevant package were met.
Contribution to environmental sustainability
In order to contribute to environmental sustainability and encourage low-carbon consumption, the Bank offers more advantageous conditions for the purchase of electric or hybrid vehicles compared to other types of vehicle financing. In order to increase the number of energy-efficient houses, it provides more favorable conditions for financing such houses. It offers financing products to support individual customers’ investments in increasing energy efficiency.
Ziraat Katılım delivers products and services with environmental and social impact as part of its sustainability policy and banking service framework. By financing eco-friendly projects, the Bank plays an important role in encouraging sustainable practices. It plans to expand its portfolio of loans for renewable energy projects and sustainable agricultural practices.
As part of its goals of expanding its customer base and improving the customer experience, Ziraat Katılım plans to make its Retail Banking processes more effective and efficient, to provide fast and easily accessible solutions to its customers, and to increase its interaction with customers by offering appropriate financing and investment instruments for different needs in 2025.
