Occupational Health and Safety

Ziraat Katılım considers providing a healthy and safe working environment for its employees in accordance with international and local standards among its core areas of responsibility. As per the requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Law, Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) boards are set up in the Bank service buildings with over 50 employees to represent the employees. Ziraat Katılım OHS Board convened twice, on February 28, 2024, and December 11, 2024.

During its operational activities, the Bank regularly reviews its OHS practices by adapting to technological developments and taking into account the opinions of employees, and aims for zero occupational accidents and zero occupational diseases with the principle of continuous improvement.

The Bank’s workplace physician provides healthcare services to employees at Ziraat Katılım Headquarters daily between 13:30-18:00, and newly recruited employees undergo a medical examination.

The Bank organizes training programs to raise employees’ OHS awareness. In 2024, 750 employees received 2 person/hour (1,500 hours in total) of face-to-face OHS training.
